CEVR Shines at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva!

We are incredibly proud to announce that CEVR’s groundbreaking research has earned 1 Gold Medal of Congratulations of the Jury, 1 Silver Medal, and 1 Special Prize on the global stage. These awards underscore our commitment to transforming visionary science into life-changing eye care solutions.

The Highlights:

GOLD MEDAL (with Congratulations of the Jury) + Special Prize from Lucian Blaga University:

Viromids: A Redosable, Low-Cost Gene-Delivery Platform.

The Team: Led by Prof. Roderick Slavcev, Prof. Chien-Ling Huang, along with researcher Dr. Michael Lai.

The Impact: A breakthrough in gene therapy that enables repeat dosing and larger gene delivery at a fraction of current costs

SILVER MEDAL:

FlavoTear (Baicalein): A Disease-Modifying Agent for Dry Eye.

The Team: Led by Prof. Chi Wai Do, Prof. Emmanuel Ho, Ph.D. , and researcher Mr. Roy Chung.

The Impact: Moving beyond symptom relief to target the biological "vicious cycle" of Dry Eye Disease using plant-derived flavonoids.
