The InnoHK Centre for Eye and Vision Research (CEVR) participated in the Asia Summit of Global Health on 26-27 May 2025. Our presence at the event allowed us our research team, Dr. Liping ZHOU, Dr. Chau-Minh Phan, and Dr. Kaya Wong to present the innovative Eye-On-a-Chip Device, which mimics the ocular environment for testing ocular products. This device uses microfluidics to simulate tear flow and real-time imaging with an automated analysis algorithm to measure cell health.
We were proud to have a strong team of CEVR’s principal investigators and postdoctoral fellows from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the University of Waterloo in Canada to support us at the summit.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with with global leaders, innovators, and investor in the field of healthcare and share our vision for the future of eye care. I
We’re grateful to everyone who made our participation in the Asia Summit of Global Health a success, especially thanks to the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Innovation and Technology Commission for their ultimate support in making this success possible!
